Our Development Programs
We are committed to developing to recognized green building standards such as the U.S. Green Building Council’s standards for LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), CASBEE (Comprehensive Assessment System for Building Environmental Efficiency) in Japan, as well as BREEAM (Building Research Establishment’s Environmental Assessment Method) and other country-specific standards throughout the European Union. In countries where recognized green building standards do not exist, we utilize our own global best practice standards.
AMB has developed best practices for high-volume, high-turnover distribution facilities. We optimize dock doors, ceiling heights, column spacing, building depths and truck bay ratios to maximize building efficiency. Our designs support the latest security and inventory management technology, and include multi-story facilities in land-constrained markets. Our access to capital, balance sheet strength and investment-grade ratings give us the capability to undertake large-scale development projects.
AMB’s local development teams have the knowledge and ability to work through the political and practical challenges of developing logistics facilities globally.
