Energy and Environmental Building Performance
Sustainable, energy efficient industrial buildings — whether new or existing — directly benefit our customers through lower operating costs and reducing the consumption of scarce resources.
Development
AMB’s development activity focuses on enhancing operational efficiencies and reducing energy costs through the application of green building standards. In all cases, we follow AMB’s best practice standards, ensuring that our developments meet and exceed regulations for energy efficiency and environmental impact.
Operations
We work with customers to identify more efficient operations through energy performance audits and prioritizing & implementing energy conservation projects. AMB’s capital maintenance programs improve building performance, using energy efficient, environmentally preferable products such as Energy Star-qualified white roofing, high-efficiency lighting and HVAC systems.
Solar Energy Opportunities
AMB is actively pursuing solar energy opportunities across our global portfolio. With thousands of acres of rooftops, we have an opportunity to support a significant amount of clean solar energy. We are identifying solar solutions that benefit our customers, such as enabling them to purchase reliable clean energy and reduce operating costs.
